Admission to Jakarta Future School

All students seeking to enroll in Jakarta Future School’s programs must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the English language.

Details of the enrollment process:

  1. Complete online enrollment application
    Fill out the online application form.
    Note: If you have already started an application or have previously enrolled at Jakarta Future School, please do not submit a new application.
    Give us a call at +62 812 644 6342 and choose the option to speak with our Enrollment Advisor.
  2. Talk with our Enrollment Advisor
    Our enrollment advisor will contact you within one business day after submitting your form. If you are not contacted within that time frame, please call us at +62 812 644 6342 and choose the option for Admissions to speak with our Enrollment Advisor. Your advisor will help you get all the necessary documents you need to enroll.
  3. Join our English Placement Test (EPT)
    You’re required to join our English Placement Test (EPT). Upon completion of the test, we will notify you whether or not you are required to join our additional online Academic English class before or after your regular online classes start.

Age and Grade Requirements

To enroll in Jakarta Future School, a candidate student must produce prior grade completion report or transfer certificate before joining following grade in either National or International curriculum as follows:

  1. If a student is 12 years or older, he or she is considered “age appropriate” for seventh grade and may enroll in Jakarta Future School’s online high school program, using the sixth-grade completion report and a birth certificate or other official documentation as proof.
  2. If a student is under 12 years of age, he or she must show proof of sixth-grade completion and must pass interview with our Enrollment Advisor.
  3. The same policy will apply to candidate students who want to enroll in grade 8,9,10, and 11.
  4. Students and their families can speak with our Enrollment Advisor counselor to address other circumstances.

Timeline for Enrollment:

Enrollment is open 12 months a year on a rolling basis. Upon enrollment, each student will start at the beginning of their courses and move through the curriculum at their own pace. Our enrollment Advisor will advise on when to join the IGCSE (Grade 10)/AS (Grade 11)/A Levels (Grade 12) exam during the initial counseling. Examinations with Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) take place in May/June and October/November.
